Screen printing method capacitive touch switch (capacitive sensor)

We can produce popular capacitive switches at a low cost, whether for prototypes or small batches. By using a prototype circuit board, you can develop with a minimal initial investment.

◆ The traditional method using ITO film has issues with long lead times and high costs. Our screen printing method allows for the production of electrostatic switches at a low cost even in small quantities. ◆ It can be used even on secondary curved surfaces, which are difficult with ITO film. This expands the design possibilities for appliances that utilize curves. ◆ The switch area transmits LED light, resulting in a beautiful design that stimulates purchasing desire. ◆ The switch functions are all installed beneath the decorative panel. There is no physical burden, providing overwhelming durability compared to tactile switches. ◆ Since we have in-house integrated production, we can accommodate short lead times. ◆ High added value features like "slide switches" and "navigation" are possible depending on the ideas. ◆ We often receive requests for manufacturing that includes decorative parts (such as acrylic), but we can also accept orders for just the capacitive sensors. Please feel free to contact us. ◆ Providing assembly including the circuit board You can leave everything from switch design to circuit board assembly to us.

Membrane switch

Solving the issues with tact switches! The mechanical components are minimal, significantly reducing failures in the switch section.

The "membrane switch" is a thin, lightweight, and highly functional switch. It uses ink that conducts electricity to print the switch contacts on a thin film. The common printing method is screen printing (silk printing). The structure consists of switch contacts printed on the film with a spacer creating a gap, which are then adhered together facing each other. By pressing the contacts above and below to make contact, electricity flows, and the switch is activated. 【Features】 ■ Excellent durability ■ Light and responsive click feel like a tactile switch ■ Despite its thin structure, LED mounting is possible ■ Can improve water resistance, dust resistance, noise countermeasures, and chemical resistance according to the usage environment ■ Short lead times possible with in-house integrated production; accommodating small lots ■ High design quality of the top sheet *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Issues with tact switches → Solved with membrane switches!

Do you have any concerns with tact switches? Membrane switches can solve those common issues! We provide everything from circuit board design to assembly as a complete unit.

Do you have any of the following concerns? Here are solutions for each issue! ◆ "With a tact switch specification, space is needed under the top sheet for the circuit board..." The tact switch specification requires aligning the positions of the circuit board and the key part of the top sheet, which limits the installation location. ⇒ With a membrane switch, the switch can be placed in a different location from the circuit board. It is possible to design it for easier maintenance of the circuit board during servicing. ◆ "I want to be creative with the switch positions to add variety to the design..." Since tact switches are placed on the circuit board, the key positions on the top sheet are limited by the circuit board pattern. ⇒ With a membrane switch, switches are not placed on the circuit board, allowing for free placement of the key parts. The design is not constrained by key placement. ◆ "Adjusting the height of the circuit board is difficult..." Using a tact switch + top sheet involves many components and requires complex design for adjusting the thickness of spacers to improve the feel. ⇒ It can be easily assembled just by sticking it on, eliminating the need for height adjustment. It is possible to implement metal domes or LEDs to enhance the tactile feel.

Membrane display: Design + tactile feel = a new sensation switch.

Please feel free to consult us from the planning stage! We will handle everything from structural design to assembly.

"Design of the touch panel, tactile feel of the membrane" The "Membrane Display" is a slim operation panel that enhances design through the illumination of the keys. It can be simply embedded into a unit, eliminating the need for height adjustments. Assembly is easy, requiring only the attachment of the top sheet and fastening with screws on the back. 【Features】 ■ "Stylishness"… A cool design where the switch part allows LED light to pass through ■ "Click feel"… A solid click feel that prevents mispressing ■ "Waterproof and dustproof measures"… Possible to address environmental usage measures such as life waterproofing, dustproofing, and noise reduction ■ "Thinness"… Achieved thinness through the original 7-segment display and keys ■ "Customization"… You can freely select specifications, design, number of 7-segment digits, illumination color, brightness, and click feel *For more details, please refer to the product brochure and related links. If you would like to see a demo unit, please contact us through the <Contact Us> section.
