Multi-beam bathymetry

It is possible to obtain the shapes of the seabed, lakebed, riverbed, etc., as 3D point cloud data.

"Multi-beam bathymetric surveying" uses a "multi-beam echo sounder" that emits sound waves in a fan shape to conduct area-based measurements (swath bathymetry), allowing for the measurement of the seafloor, lakebed, riverbed, etc., as 3D point cloud data, and enables the determination of 3D shapes and changes. It can measure vast areas in a short time, and because it can measure terrains between survey lines that were difficult with single-beam echo sounders, detailed contour maps can be created. 【Features】 - The echo sounder is the "iWBMSH" multi-beam echo sounder manufactured by NORBIT. - The sonar adopts a curved array method, allowing the swath width to be changed arbitrarily between 7° and 210°. - The sonar, motion sensor, and surface sound velocity meter are integrated, making the onboard equipment compact, resulting in fewer wiring connections, reduced installation time, and improved safety during onboard operations. - The bathymetric sonar is mounted on the side of the survey vessel. It can be installed on small outboard motor boats or vessels weighing around 20 tons using single pipe and dedicated fixtures. - A terrestrial 3D laser scanner "iLIDER" is used to simultaneously measure the land portion. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

3D aerial photogrammetry using UAVs (drones)

It is possible to acquire vast terrain and other data as 3D point cloud data in a short time.

"3D Aerial Photogrammetry Using UAVs (Drones)" involves capturing images of measurement targets such as equipment and terrain from above using UAVs. The multiple photos taken are converted into 3D point cloud data, allowing for the determination of shapes, volumes, and more. This method enables the measurement of vast areas in a short time and allows for measurements in locations that are difficult to access without the need for scaffolding or ladders. 【Features】 ■ UAVs can fly at lower altitudes than manned aircraft, providing high-resolution images at a lower cost. ■ No scaffolding or ladders are required, which reduces work time. ■ There is no need to enter areas where hazards are anticipated, enhancing safety. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
