This technology uses drones equipped with a camera that has 'self-position estimation' and 'collision avoidance functions (Visual SLAM)' to perform close-up imaging of concrete components of bridge superstructures and substructures. The high-resolution camera captures images that allow for automatic crack detection through AI analysis, as well as precise recording of width, length, and other damage scales and locations, enabling the creation of orthomosaic images, damage diagrams, and three-dimensional models.
