The elevator speedometer "EC-2100" is a compact, lightweight, battery-operated handheld speedometer designed for elevator adjustment, maintenance, and inspection.
In addition to measuring elevator speed, it can also measure the emergency stop distance of escalators. By simply pressing the peripheral speed ring lightly against the elevator's wire rope, easy and accurate measurements can be made. The display uses a highly visible red LED, allowing measurement values to be easily read even in dark places, and by securing the main unit to a fixture, inspection work can be performed by one person.
