Noise level that does not disturb the neighbors.
How much soundproofing is needed to avoid disturbing the neighbors? I will introduce it using a graph.
The "D value" is a rating defined by JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) to evaluate sound insulation performance, with a value assigned at a center frequency of 500Hz. The values are ranked in intervals of 5, with larger numbers indicating higher sound insulation performance. To measure the D value of a specific room, it is determined by examining how much the sound (source) generated in that room has attenuated outside of the room (receiver). Our catalog also explains topics such as "the relationship between sound insulation ratings and real-life experiences" and "applicable ratings concerning the average sound pressure level difference between rooms."
