Scintillators are essential for CT devices, converting high-energy rays such as X-rays from the radiation source into visible light that can be detected by the detector. We are developing a composite scintillator with a ZnO nanowire guiding layer and an emission layer that can achieve high spatial and temporal resolution as a next-generation scintillator material.
