A scanner that can measure the "residual stress, hardness variation, and hardened layer depth" of metals.

Achieved with non-contact and non-destructive methods! Super-fast measurement of dimensional changes and strength deficiencies after processing, contributing to process improvement. Exhibiting at Automotive World Online!

Do you have any of these problems? ■ I want to know if the cause of bending or warping of metal parts and cracking in welds is residual stress... ■ I want to manage the lifespan of molds... ⇒ We can solve this with the residual stress measurement device 'μ-X360s'! ■ I want to non-destructively determine the effects of heat treatment and the presence of cutting or grinding burns... ■ I want to conduct inline inspections and 100% inspections using robots... ■ I want to eliminate visual inspections that require special skills so that anyone can perform inspections... ⇒ We can solve this with the non-contact hardness mura scanner 'muraR'! ■ I want to shorten the time for hardness testing by evaluating the hardened layer... ■ I want to improve the variability of results caused by operators and equipment... ■ I want to skip the resin filling and mirror polishing processes... ⇒ We can solve this with the hardened layer depth evaluation device! Regarding our planned participation in the '13th Automotive World,' we have decided to refrain from exhibiting due to the declaration of a state of emergency. However, we will be exhibiting at a virtual booth online, so please check our products from here. Online exhibition period: January 20 (Wednesday) to 22 (Friday), 2021 (You can view the web booth and apply for appointments starting January 6.)

Be cautious of the weather when using the 3D scanner.

Support for the practical application of icon construction through rentals! Be mindful of the weather when using 3D scanners.

In some industries, I believe there are many situations where 3D scanners are utilized, but when using them, it is necessary to pay attention to the surrounding environment, especially the "weather." This is because the information obtained from a 3D scanner can be greatly affected by the weather. For example, measurements taken in areas with strong sunlight can be difficult because the light from the 3D scanner can be overwhelmed by the sunlight, making data collection challenging. During rainy weather, raindrops or snow can be scanned as point clouds, preventing data collection. When using a 3D scanner, by thoroughly understanding the weather conditions on the day of measurement and planning accordingly, smooth measurements can be achieved. 【Features】 ■ The information obtained from a 3D scanner can be greatly influenced by the weather. ■ Measurements in areas with strong sunlight can make data collection difficult. ■ Measurements during rainy weather can result in raindrops or snow being scanned as point clouds. ■ Similarly, measurements can also be difficult if it has just stopped raining or if the object is wet. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case study of terrain surveying using UAV equipped with green laser - free data available.

Utilizing green laser UAV surveying to achieve advanced disaster recovery activities.

Our company's green laser scanner has the characteristic of emitting green laser light, which is less absorbed by water compared to the commonly used near-infrared lasers. By mounting this scanner on a UAV and conducting laser measurements, we can obtain seamless and high-precision data down to the riverbed in areas where measuring wet surfaces or locations where land and water surfaces mix, such as rivers and ports, was difficult with near-infrared lasers. This case is part of our participation in the environmental restoration activities, including the conservation of saline wetlands in the disaster-affected areas of the Great East Japan Earthquake, conducted by the NPO Mori wa Umi no Koibito. Due to ground subsidence from the earthquake, a rare saline wetland was created in Japan, where river and sea waters mix. As time passes since the disaster, while the ecosystem within the wetland is becoming richer, it is expected that the ground will rise due to elastic changes, leading to a decrease in wetland area due to the growth of reeds. We have created a high-precision 3D topographic map of the area surrounding the wetland by conducting benchmark surveying and green laser surveying. By continuing measurements, we monitor changes in the surrounding terrain and build a GIS on a 3D model of the rich ecosystem, thereby cooperating in both environmental conservation and disaster recovery efforts.
