Although there is currently a stable supply, the availability of high-quality material has been decreasing year by year, making good quality wood increasingly rare. Sapele has a similar appearance to African mahogany and is sometimes referred to as "African mahogany," but its grain pattern has a more dynamic and powerful impression.
