[Certificate of Origin Example] Oysters - Measures to Prevent Origin Fraud

Measures to prevent misrepresentation of origin assert the origins of various oysters! Unique scientific fingerprints are identified for each lease/growing bay.

As a measure to prevent origin fraud, we would like to introduce an example of a joint effort between the Tasmanian government and the Tasmanian Oyster Company to certify the origin of oysters. The objective is to verify the digital tracking platform created by the Tasmanian state government. Oysters are often mixed or substituted throughout the supply chain, and by claiming a specific origin, a premium can be added, resulting in higher selling prices for consumers. The origin program allows for 100% classification of the sample's origin and 100% mutual verification, enabling tracking back to the bay of origin. For individual leases within a single bay, this can be done with 98% accuracy. [Summary of Measures (Partial)] ■Challenges - Mixing/substitution often occurs throughout the supply chain - Claiming a specific origin can lead to a premium and increased selling prices - The emergence of substitutes may result in potential revenue loss due to quality and flavor issues *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Measures to prevent intrusion by snakes, rodents, etc. into electrical equipment! [Small animal intrusion prevention construction]

Measures against small animal intrusion into unmanned power substations, cubicles, and other power facilities! Contributing to SDGs by using natural materials derived from volcanic ash!

Our company conducts small animal intrusion prevention work using the small animal intrusion prevention material "High Lane." "High Lane" is made from volcanic natural material called shirasu balloon. It combines flexible workability and ease of demolition while also possessing durability that allows it to be used without issues in harsh conditions. In "High Lane installation," after removing existing sealing materials, we use fireproof boards and High Lane to completely block the entry points for small animals. *Shirasu balloon is a natural material created by foaming shirasu particles, which are volcanic ejecta, at high temperatures. It has a particle size of 20 micrometers or less and exhibits excellent properties such as fire resistance, thermal insulation, and moisture regulation. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Achievements] Measures to prevent ceiling collapse of existing non-compliant "specified ceilings" in expansion construction work.

Are you aware that if there is a "specific ceiling" in an existing building, it becomes non-compliant and the application for an extension cannot be accepted? Here are some examples of ceiling collapse prevention measures.

Are you aware that if there is a "specific ceiling" in an existing building, it becomes non-compliant and the application for an extension cannot be accepted? For those of you who understand this but are struggling because you cannot stop your business activities, we would like to introduce our construction achievements. * A "specific ceiling" refers to a suspended ceiling that is over 6 meters high, with an area exceeding 200 m² and a mass exceeding 2 kg/m², installed in areas used by people on a daily basis. <Overview of the Target Building> Store (used car sales, vehicle inspection and maintenance) Construction area: 230 m² Actual working days: 20 days * The store attracts many families, with a children's play area, and operates at full capacity except on Wednesdays. We set up a temporary stage during holidays and nighttime, while continuing regular operations below and conducting work simultaneously on the stage. * ERI confirmation certificate received 【Overview of the plan change】 Treatment of the specific ceiling in the existing building For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Fire Prevention Measures for Warehouses: The Importance of Lessons Learned and Training in Large-Scale Warehouses

Reconfirm the realities and dangers of warehouse fires, the actual violations of regulations in large warehouses, and the lessons learned from the contents of the report!

Time flies, and we are already halfway through this year, with the season transitioning into the rainy season and then summer. Although discussing fire incidents during this time may seem out of sync with the season, it is essential to implement year-round fire prevention measures for warehouse facilities, which are crucial for logistics. When it comes to warehouse fires, those that cause significant damage or occur in large-scale warehouses tend to receive extensive media coverage. However, it seems that other types of fires are not reported as frequently. One notable large-scale warehouse fire occurred in February 2017 in Miyoshi Town, Iruma District, Saitama Prefecture, where approximately 45,000 square meters of a warehouse with a total floor area of about 70,000 square meters burned, taking about 12 days to extinguish. *For more details on the blog, please refer to the related links. Royal Garden Hotel, UK - Measures for preventing red rust and water leakage in air conditioning and hot water piping.

Case studies of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel air conditioning and hot water piping.

The Royal Garden Hotel London, famous as a five-star hotel in London, was built in 1965 and currently has 400 rooms. Due to the iron pipes in the hotel's hot water circulation system, red water was occurring from the taps every morning. To prevent rust and leaks in the pipes and extend their lifespan, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content value due to red rust in the hot water pipes during nighttime was very high at 2.79 mg/l. However, 25 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it decreased to 0.016 mg/l, and further decreased to 0.013 mg/l 36 days after installation, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/l set by UK water regulations. This reduction was achieved as the existing red rust in the pipes was reduced to black rust, which is an insoluble volume of 1/10 in water, thereby demonstrating the anti-corrosion effect of the air conditioning and hot water pipes and extending the lifespan of the piping.

Consider measures to prevent tailgating in the entrance and exit management system.

We will also introduce common cases of group outings and measures to prevent them!

The most important aspect of utilizing an entry and exit management system is to accurately record and manage when, who, and which room someone entered. However, a troublesome issue in enforcing this is the problem of "tailgating." Tailgating refers to the situation where, during one person's entry or exit, multiple people enter or exit together with one person who has been authenticated and others who have not. If someone enters or exits improperly in this way, it does not get recorded, making it impossible to identify individuals if any malicious actions are taken, which is a problem. As physical prevention methods for this "tailgating," there are three measures: security gates, anti-passback, and surveillance cameras. I would like to explain the details and implementation examples of each. *For detailed content of the column, you can view it through the related links.
