Fresh bamboo is soaked in lukewarm water for 3 to 4 months, then sun-dried, cut, and processed with grooves using rollers, and finally shaped by hand into coiled forms. Large types such as "Cocoon" and "Barrel" can only be created by the skilled techniques of certain artisans.
