We would like to introduce the design and manufacturing of press molds conducted at Morishita Mold Manufacturing Co., Ltd. At our company, we use CAD/CAM systems and CAE simulation systems to design press mold drawings and create machining data, thereby designing molds. We produce NC data for machining from the mold manufacturing drawings and process them using machining centers and wire-cut electric discharge machines. Aren't you adjusting the flow rate by cutting the resin flow path yet? I will explain in detail how to adjust the resin flow rate balance.

In the case of problems in irregular extrusion, a wavering phenomenon may occur. Looking at the CAE analysis diagram, it can be seen that the flow rate of the resin in the wavering part is fast, and the amount of resin flowing is large, which indicates that this phenomenon occurs. One method to adjust the resin flow balance is to change the length of the resin flow path (by modifying the internal resin flow path of the mold) or to adjust the slit width of the mold. *For more details, please refer to the middle section of the page.
