We propose a CDM process using our Filmix® as a method for manufacturing electrode slurries for lithium-ion batteries. Compared to conventional solid kneading methods, it offers the following advantages: - Short processing time - High dispersion capability - High reproducibility - Easy scale-up for mass production ■ Solid Kneading Method Process We use kneading machines such as Hibis Dispermix. I would like to introduce the testing of the mixer. Since there is nothing in the container, the advantages are reduced contamination risk and no damage to the raw materials. However, once the material aggregates and adheres to the container walls, it is difficult to resolve. Currently, we are conducting tests at the request of our customers, but the lid part is not mixing well. Therefore, we are considering an approach to make the powder less likely to adhere by coating or processing the inner surface of the container. By performing a blasting treatment on the stainless steel surface and intentionally making it rough, we can prevent adhesion. It is said that changing the treatment method according to the characteristics of the powder can be effective. We also have a 20L test container available for WPC treatment. As a result, we received a suggestion from a customer to "try adding baseballs," so we added three regular baseballs. After opening it 10 minutes later, there still seemed to be some unevenness and lumps, but compared to before using the balls, there was a clear difference. Since we achieved results with the baseballs, we would like to consider using food-grade silicone balls in the future.
