For the first time in the MB301 series, both FeliCa and Mifare are supported in a multi-format. For access control management, the speed of authentication for both facial recognition and body temperature measurement has significantly increased, eliminating annoying error announcements like "Please stand closer." While the MBT-300/M was compact, it weighed 1.5 kg and had a separate thermal camera and main unit, resulting in visible cables from the back. The MBT-301-F has an integrated design, allowing the unit to be installed flush against the wall, improving security. The MB-300/MF also had concerns regarding weight and mounting plates, but these have been resolved. The outdoor-compatible MB-300/MF, released as the first of its kind in facial recognition terminals, features a WDR function that can be toggled on and off, making it resistant to sunlight. Although the manual states to "avoid direct sunlight," it has been used without issues in actual settings.
