[Clatis Eco Case Study] Kinki University Academic Theater Building No. 1

Introduction of case studies for processing support and cross-section design support (irregular shapes, partial coating).

At the Academic Theater No. 1 of Kinki University in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, we have adopted "Clatis Eco" for the exterior louvers. By utilizing NC and processing technology, we made it possible to install on curved buildings and flexibly responded to the previously unique processing of components. Leveraging the feature of being a hybrid product of aluminum and wood powder resin, we designed the cross-section to allow for easy jointing of the adapter components that connect the louvers to the building's structure, contributing to a reduction in on-site work burden.
