[Case Study] Wine Management Using UHF Band RFID Tags

Significantly reduce inventory time! Here is an introduction to a case study on wine management using UHF band RFID tags.

We will introduce a case study of the implementation of IC tags and labels that can be used on-site, which our company handles. In a restaurant's wine cellar, over 2,000 bottles of wine are stored at all times. However, it often took a long time to find the desired wine when ordering, and there were frequent instances of missing outbound records, leading to situations where wines that should be in the system were not found, as well as time-consuming inventory processes. These issues were resolved through the introduction of RFID. [Challenges Before Implementation] ■ Wine Search - There are many similar items, such as different vintages of the same brand, making it time-consuming to locate them. ■ Outbound Record Omissions - During busy times at the restaurant, there are many instances of missing records when wine orders come in. ■ Inventory - In recent years, there have been strict criticisms during accounting audits regarding asset recording omissions, but inventory takes a lot of time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Tool Management Using RFID Tags for Small Metal Objects

Efficient management of tool check-out and return! Here is an introduction to a case study of its implementation in railway track maintenance operations.

We will introduce case studies of IC tags and labels that can be used on-site, which our company handles. In railway track maintenance operations, confirming the collection of tools after maintenance work, which involves the use of numerous tools, has been a long-standing issue. However, with the introduction of RFID, it has become possible to confirm the collection quickly and reliably. Additionally, we have significantly improved the efficiency of managing tool checkouts and returns, and reduced the labor required for asset inventory tasks conducted once every six months. [Challenges Before Implementation] ■ Tool Collection Confirmation - Leaving tools on the tracks could lead to serious accidents, but confirming the collection of numerous tools after maintenance work was a significant burden. ■ Checkout and Return Management - A lot of time was spent on recording tool checkouts and returns, leading to many instances of missed records. ■ Inventory - In recent years, there have been strict criticisms during accounting audits regarding omissions in asset recording, but inventory takes an enormous amount of time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
