In particular, it can be used for 3D modeling from old drawings, 2D drawings, and topographic maps, as well as creating 3D models of existing structures such as bridges and tunnels, which can be utilized for future infrastructure maintenance management. The creation methods support realistic modeling by extracting edges using our original 3D techniques as well as automatic calculation functions. The reason for converting to 3D is undoubtedly to assist in identifying changes in deformation amounts due to aging and contribute to recognizing abnormal areas during regular inspections of road facility structures.
