Clear in terms of strength! Using "GPL soil retention" and "GPL long support" in the rainwater box culvert installation work!
We would like to introduce a construction case of installing a new box culvert next to a river (drainage) that is overflowing.
The total height of the box culvert to be installed, including the crushed stone foundation height and the concrete base height, is approximately 2,500mm. Since the top of the box culvert will be at almost the same height as the ground level (GL), the cut beam of the GPL retaining wall must be above the GL, and the opening height must be secured to be at least 2,500mm. Additionally, a trench width of W=4.6m must be secured.
The challenge was to meet these three points, but under the current site conditions, we were able to meet both product and strength requirements with the "GPL retaining wall."
【Equipment Used】
■ Aluminum sheet piles
■ GPL retaining wall
■ Hydraulic four-sided beams
■ Fence
