The factory-assembled hub/flex unit is designed to match the common mechanical shaft sizes of turbo compressors. The "H-FE" is a coupling that can be easily installed on integrated shaft flanges used in many large gas turbines and steam turbines. In some applications, the H-FE turbine end drive can be installed on a reduced moment arrangement at the compressor end.
