Introducing a case where productivity improved through the multiplexing and automation of connectors for electricity, coaxial, and optical fibers!
In the vehicle-mounted radio inspection line, there are connectors for electricity, coaxial, and optical fiber. However, there were no composite connectors combining electricity, coaxial, and optical fiber from domestic manufacturers, so connections were made manually and separately.
Therefore, we introduced our composite connector that can integrate electricity, coaxial, and optical fiber.
Additionally, by installing a rail and allowing for sliding, we enabled automatic attachment and detachment of all components together, eliminating the need to assign workers to this process and improving productivity.
We plan to similarly introduce composite connectors in the inspection lines for car navigation systems and batteries, automating those processes as well.
