We would like to introduce a case study of improvements made by a company in the textile industry. They were using four 22KW compressors. They wanted to reduce electricity costs and promote energy efficiency but were unsure of what actions to take, relying on contractors, which resulted in a lack of understanding of the appropriate air supply volume. Therefore, we conducted a diagnosis of the four compressors (checking their operational status). It was determined that due to being over-spec, it was possible to change from four 22KW units to one 37KW unit. By updating the equipment, it was found that they could reduce their running costs by 800,000 yen annually.
