A composite material made of 30% PEEK and 70% carbon fiber! It is an ideal material for applications such as case wear rings.
"WR 525" is a thermoplastic composite that layers carbon fibers within a PEEK matrix, making it an ideal material for impeller wear rings, bushings, and case wear rings, leveraging its unique thermal expansion properties.
It is approved as a non-metallic wear-resistant material under the API610 standard (American Petroleum Institute) and possesses excellent wear resistance and chemical resistance.
Additionally, it features high heat resistance and high sliding properties, making it suitable for use in pump bearings.
[Features]
- Thermoplastic composite with continuous carbon fiber layering
- Anti-galling/binding properties
- Excellent mechanical properties (tensile strength: about four times that of stainless steel)
- Low thermal expansion coefficient
