What is the Kigali Amendment?

The Kigali Amendment mandates the gradual reduction of HFCs! Introduction of useful air conditioning information.

The substitute for freon, "HFC (hydrofluorocarbons)," is widely used as a refrigerant in many devices and equipment. However, although HFCs are not ozone-depleting substances, they have a significant greenhouse effect, being 100 to over 10,000 times more potent than carbon dioxide, and measures to reduce their use have been deemed necessary. Due to the impact of HFCs, the average temperature increase by the end of this century is estimated to be about 0.5 degrees Celsius. In this context, from October 10 to 14, 2016, the 28th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol was held in Kigali, Rwanda, where an amendment to the protocol (the Kigali Amendment) was made to establish obligations for the phased reduction of HFC production and consumption. [Contents] ■ The Kigali Amendment mandates the phased reduction of HFCs. ■ The necessity of transitioning from HFC refrigerants to non-freon refrigerants. *For detailed information, please refer to the related links. *For more details, please check the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Non-Freon Chiller "Dear Cool"

Indoor remote control provides the same usability as an air conditioner! Detects refrigerant leaks with sensors and drives the fan.

"Dear Cool" is an air conditioning chiller that uses R290 (propane) as a refrigerant. The heat source unit separates the control box and refrigerant circuit, eliminating ignition sources. We provide system design, installation, and maintenance inspections as a one-stop service. [Features] ■ Prevents propane leakage indoors ■ Eliminates ignition sources ■ Does not create a flammable range through diffusion ■ Prompt service response ■ Similar user experience to air conditioning with an indoor remote control *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study on Energy Management and Control] Georgia World Congress Center

Introducing examples of upgrades that enhance reliability, safety, and aesthetics.

We would like to introduce a case where energy analysis and monitoring, energy efficiency contracts, and improvements such as upgrades were implemented at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). In order to maintain its status as a LEED-certified convention center, we aimed to consolidate four mechanical systems into one, allowing the entire facility to operate seamlessly and improve efficiency. We achieved the centralization of mechanical operations, reduction of energy costs, and enhancement of aesthetics. [Challenges] - Dealing with aging air conditioning systems and various lighting fixtures that need replacement - Improving reliability, safety, and aesthetics - Aiming for efficiency by enabling seamless operation of the entire facility *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[BAS Implementation Case] Bank of America Stadium

Increased reliability and refrigeration capacity! Achieved a reduction in energy consumption.

We would like to introduce a case where, in conjunction with the upgrade of the BAS, the energy consumption of a stadium with a capacity of approximately 75,000 people was reduced while increasing reliability and cooling capacity, resulting in an expected annual savings of about $80,000. The company faced the need for additional cooling capacity, high energy costs, and the necessity to upgrade aging infrastructure. As a result of completing the upgrade of the chiller plant and BAS, they were able to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enhance reliability and capacity, keeping players and fans comfortable during games. [Challenges] - Additional cooling capacity - Reduction of energy costs - Upgrading aging infrastructure - Maintaining 1,000 tons of cooling capacity during the renovation period *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
