[Case Study of Wood Biomass Boiler Installation] Shoji Sawmill Kamabuchi Factory
Utilizing forests as a circular resource! Aiming to reduce CO2 emissions and effectively utilize waste.
We would like to introduce a case study regarding the introduction of a wood biomass boiler at Shoji Lumber Mill, Kamabuchi Factory. By converting the large amount of cedar bark (tree bark) generated in-house into boiler fuel for energy and drying wood, we are utilizing the forest as a "circular resource" and working towards CO2 reduction and effective waste utilization. This has become a model case for using bark as fuel, and biomass boilers have been installed at three facilities: Kanayama Factory, Kamabuchi Factory, and Mamurogawa Factory. [Case Overview] ■ Application: Industrial hot water wood drying ■ Fuel: Wood bark (moisture content DB100%) ■ Hot water machine type: Movable fire grate type UTSR-1600.32 ■ Hot water machine output: 1500 kW ■ Silo discharge system: Push feeder & chain conveyor method ■ Installation date: October 2009 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
