basic information
■□■ Construction Guidelines ■□■ ■ The surface of the ZAP must always be installed in a state where a clean metal surface is exposed. It is prohibited to paint or apply oil to it. ■ Type B - Weld M12 or M16 bolts to the protected body, securely tighten the ZAP with nuts, and fill any gaps with insulating putty such as vinyl putty or asphalt. - Use galvanized bolts and nuts. - The most important aspect during the installation of the ZAP is to ensure a reliable electrical connection between the ZAP and the protected body. - Care must be taken to avoid using rusty bolts and nuts or allowing foreign objects to be trapped between the tightening surfaces, ensuring a secure fit. ■ Type S - Weld the exposed part of the ZAP core to the protected body. - After installation, paint the exposed part of the core. ■ For more details, please contact us.
