"A company that is both old and new"! The predecessor of Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery was established as Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works during the Taisho era, and it traces back to Mitsubishi Steel Co., Ltd. Nagasaki Steel Works, which became independent in 1942.
