Site survey before installing access points using a handheld spectrum analyzer (wireless LAN) Typically, when installing access points, the accompanying software is used to observe the wireless LAN signal conditions. However, in this case, the influence of devices such as Bluetooth, microwaves, and cordless phones, which can cause interference with wireless LAN, cannot be observed. By using a spectrum analyzer, it becomes possible to measure the radio conditions of both wireless LAN and other devices, allowing for installation in appropriate locations and channels.
