The S-8BD-4502RD (S8BD4502RD) is a snow-resistant antenna with 8 elements in a Yagi configuration, manufactured by Nippon Antenna, designed for the 400 MHz band. It is a unidirectional antenna compatible with fixed station radios, usable over a wide frequency range of 330 to 470 MHz. Please specify the transmission frequency ft (MHz) and reception frequency fr (MHz) when placing your order. By shaping the reflector of the Yagi antenna into a screen shape, the front-to-back ratio (F/B ratio) is enhanced. This effectively suppresses interference waves coming from the rear, supporting stable radio communication. FEP pipes are used for the radiating elements and the first guiding element. This snow-resistant structure reduces performance degradation caused by snow accumulation on the antenna. It can accommodate both vertical and horizontal polarization, allowing it to be used according to the installation environment and radio communication system. The gain is 10.5 dB relative to a dipole and 12.65 dB absolute.
