The DJ-P420 (DJP420) is a specific low-power transceiver manufactured by Alinco. You can choose from two types: the DJ-P420LA with a long antenna specification and the DJ-P420MA with a middle antenna specification. It is equipped with all 47 channels for specific low-power transceivers, supporting simplex communication and alternating relay communication. Despite its slim body, it supports a loud audio output of over 100mW. It is easy to hear even in noisy environments, making it suitable for business communications. In addition to a Ni-MH rechargeable battery, it can also operate with a single AA alkaline battery, which is easy to obtain. It can operate for about 30 hours on one AA battery and about 25 hours with the EBP-179 rechargeable battery. In addition to a sturdy polycarbonate body, it has dust and water resistance equivalent to IP67, allowing it to be used in rainy weather or dusty environments.
