They are of very high quality with minimal stone loss, and as a unique feature, they have self-sealant (self-adhesive material) not only on the back but also on the front, eliminating the need to apply additional shingle cement. (However, it is acceptable to apply it if stronger adhesion is desired.) *For installation in strong wind areas such as coastlines and mountains, additional work like applying shingle cement is recommended. *Shingle cement is required during starter installation.
