【Lecture Overview】 In Sapporo City, in response to changes in the environment surrounding the sewerage business, such as population decline and the transition to a decarbonized society, we have shared the direction that the sewerage system in Sapporo City should aim for with various stakeholders and are working together. In March 2026, we formulated the "Sapporo City Sewerage Vision." This vision is positioned as a "management strategy" that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications requests public enterprises to formulate, and it outlines not only the future direction of the sewerage business but also the business plan and financial revenue and expenditure plan.
