basic information
**Lecture Overview** Tokyo Metro positions "expansion of overseas railway business" as one of its growth strategies in its mid-term management plan "RUN! - Fly into the Next Generation." Until now, our company has been involved in railway consulting primarily in Southeast Asia, but in recent years, we have been working on expanding revenue areas and building new monetization models through training businesses and contracted operations and maintenance (O&M) of overseas railways. In May of last year, we began operations of the Elizabeth line in London, UK, and we are currently promoting further business expansion. In this lecture, we will introduce Tokyo Metro's overseas business strategy, the current status of major projects, and efforts to create new revenue opportunities, taking into account global railway market trends and the flow of public-private partnerships. We will also provide a detailed explanation of the challenges in the overseas railway business and future prospects. **Lecture Items** ■ Mid-term management plan (overseas railway business) ■ Trends in the overseas railway business market ■ Strengths of Tokyo Metro ■ Achievements and current initiatives ■ Challenges and responses ■ Future strategies and outlook ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card exchange and networking event (for on-site participants only) ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange meeting
