The Techmat, equipped with 1,024 independent sensor points, can accurately map the body pressure distribution of elderly individuals with millimeter-level precision. It continuously monitors the posture and pressure conditions of elderly individuals in bed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When the pressure time on specific areas exceeds a set duration, it alerts staff to encourage position changes to prevent pressure ulcers. The Techmat identifies behaviors that pose a fall risk by detecting in real-time when elderly individuals rise from bed or change their posture to sitting or lying down. When high-risk behaviors such as rising are detected, an alarm notification is triggered instantly. With the body closely in contact with the sensor, there are fewer false detections, which reduces the burden on caregiving staff.
