**Lecture Overview** Libraries, which were once symbols of democracy and places where community knowledge was accumulated and accessible to all citizens equally, have transformed in the 21st century into hubs for local communities and catalysts for new urban development. Not only are they operated by direct management, but there is also the potential for diverse companies and organizations to take on management roles. Additionally, facilities centered around books that are not bound by library laws, as well as reading spaces produced by private enterprises, are evolving and diversifying the concept of libraries each year. Libraries have now become the most dynamic and promising type of building where possibilities are being explored. The existence of a creative library unique to a particular city directly connects to the region's future creativity.
