This lecture will provide an overview of Japan's AI policy and intellectual property policy, focusing on national strategies from historical perspectives to the current initiatives under the Takagi administration. Additionally, it will introduce the budget essential for policy realization, including the supplementary budget for fiscal year 2025 and the initial budget proposal for fiscal year 2026.
