basic information
**Lecture Overview** In April 2026, the GX-ETS (Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading System) will be launched, targeting major corporations. Companies that cannot meet their emission reduction targets will need to procure emission allowances from the trading market and increase their allowances. This seminar will explain the detailed design of the GX-ETS system and its intended direction, discussing "the potential for emission allowance trading within the GX-ETS" and "the necessity for eligible credits outside the system." Additionally, it will outline the J-Credit system, which is an eligible credit under the GX-ETS, and the current market environment, considering "the future supply potential of J-Credits." Based on these systems and market conditions, we will forecast "the future levels of carbon pricing (emission allowance prices and environmental taxes)." **Lecture Items** ■ Carbon Pricing Policy ■ GX-ETS ■ J-Credit System ■ Related Q&A ■ Business Card and Information Exchange Session
