A case where an electric cart was utilized for a snow removal robot! Due to its rust-proof, waterproof, and dust-proof features, it has high off-road capability, allowing for stable operation even in snowy winter regions.
We would like to introduce a case where our multipurpose electric cart 'MITRA' (formerly known as the Electric Mobility Base Unit) has been utilized by Everblue Technologies Inc. Everblue Technologies is developing a robot that automates snow removal tasks. The concept is to prevent snow accumulation to the point where shoveling becomes necessary by having the robot automatically clear snow from the onset of snowfall. The goal is to reduce the time and effort spent on snow shoveling, which has traditionally been done by humans, through automation. In this way, we aim to apply the technology we have cultivated over approximately 50 years in electric wheelchairs to develop the multipurpose electric cart 'MITRA' as a mobility solution for various robots. 【Features of the multipurpose electric cart 'MITRA'】 ■ Rust-proof, waterproof, and dust-proof ■ Off-road capability *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
