A stylish and sophisticated handwoven rug designed by Katsuji Wakisaka.
A stylish and sophisticated rug designed by Katsuji Wakisaka, who was also a designer for the Nordic brand Marimekko. It is made by carefully separating undyed wool from Tibet and hand-spinning it into several colors of yarn. Each piece is finished by hand-weaving with this yarn. By doing everything by hand, a unique and gentle atmosphere has been created that is unlike any other. The clean stripe design, combined with the undyed wool and nettle, results in a very attractive rug with a soft texture. Since the pile is not long, it can be used throughout the year. A non-slip backing is also included with the rug.
