The TSS-205 is an STS total station that can measure distances of approximately 400m without a prism, making it suitable for difficult-to-access locations or areas with heavy traffic where direct prism installation is not possible. Of course, distance measurement using prisms or reflective sheets is also possible. The measurable range with a convenient reflective sheet is about 800m.
