【Lecture Overview】 Nagasaki Prefecture has many potentials, including its rich and beautiful nature with diverse changes, a history of thriving through interactions with many people while accepting overseas cultural artifacts and traditions, and its geographical advantage as the westernmost point of Japan's mainland, closest to Asia. Additionally, projects such as the revitalization of various areas in the prefecture due to the opening of the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen and the Stadium City Project are significantly changing the landscape of the "town." In this context, we are advancing efforts on projects, including the development of the transportation hub in front of Nagasaki Station, which is under consideration in the prefectural capital of Nagasaki City, with an eye toward the introduction of public-private partnership methods.
