【Lecture Overview】 Narita Airport has continued to grow steadily, overcoming three crises: opposition to its construction, difficulties in developing the second runway, and the internationalization of Haneda Airport. Today, it serves as an international hub airport, accommodating about one-third of the foreign tourists visiting Japan. In line with the government's goal of welcoming 60 million inbound tourists, Narita Airport is actively working on initiatives such as the construction of a new C runway and securing and training ground handling personnel.
