Recently, the term "energy resource aggregation business" has come into use. An overview of the "Energy Resource Aggregation Business" and the value it creates for customers is organized in a conceptual diagram. By connecting energy resources to the internet and collecting data, the first step generally taken is data visualization. You may have seen graphs showing monthly electricity usage or generation amounts. Next, from the data, the actual reduction achievements in decarbonization through energy conservation and renewable energy utilization can be calculated as measured values. These data can be converted into environmental credits by obtaining the appropriate certifications, which can then lead to economic incentives such as cash income from emissions trading. This is the image referred to as power digital services. Furthermore, for energy resources that allow for "control," such as lowering air conditioning temperatures and charging/discharging batteries, commonly known as Demand Response (DR), the controllable surplus can be utilized in the wholesale electricity market for trading profits or reducing electricity costs in the form of "flexibility" that adjusts the overall balance of energy supply and demand.
