【Lecture Overview】 For the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces, cyberspace serves as the foundation for command and control from the central to the operational levels. Ensuring cybersecurity, including rapid recovery after cyberattacks, is recognized as an extremely important issue for the continuation of Self-Defense Forces operations. Based on this recognition, the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces are working to improve their own cybersecurity levels in accordance with the defense capability development plan. The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces will maximize the specialized capabilities and knowledge cultivated in this process to contribute to strengthening efforts across the entire government.
