We would like to introduce a case where an excellent nursing home in Kanagawa Prefecture switched to using "Miraif Carbon Neutral LP Gas" for cooking and hot water supply. Annual usage: 6,244㎥ Annual CO₂ emissions (due to LP gas usage): 43.3t This restaurant used 6,244㎥ of LP gas annually for hot water and cooking. The motivation for the switch came from the realization that, although they had declared their commitment to the SDGs, they had not been able to implement specific initiatives. They learned that changing their LP gas could be a way to take action. With this introduction, they successfully reduced their annual CO₂ emissions from 20.6t to effectively 0t. Decarbonization branding is about companies promoting their commitment to addressing environmental issues, particularly in reducing CO2 emissions as a measure against global warming, and establishing this as part of their brand image. Specifically, various initiatives can be considered, such as the use of renewable energy, the introduction of energy-saving equipment, and reducing CO2 emissions across the entire supply chain. Switching the energy used while keeping the current equipment is also a step towards decarbonization.
