We would like to introduce a case where an eating and drinking retail store in Ibaraki Prefecture switched to "Miraif Carbon Neutral LP Gas" for its hot water supply and cooking. Annual usage: 2,977㎥ Annual CO₂ emissions (due to LP gas usage): 20.6t This restaurant was using 2,452㎥ of LP gas annually for hot water and cooking. They felt that providing a good image to customers who visit would contribute to their branding. With this introduction, they successfully reduced their annual CO₂ emissions from 20.6t to virtually 0t. Decarbonization branding is about companies promoting their commitment to addressing environmental issues, particularly efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions as a measure against global warming, and establishing this as part of their brand image. Specifically, various initiatives can be considered, such as the use of renewable energy, the introduction of energy-saving equipment, and reducing CO₂ emissions across the entire supply chain.
