**Lecture Overview** Mizushima Port, boasting one of the largest cargo handling volumes in Japan, serves as the gateway to the Mizushima Coastal Industrial Zone, where diverse industries such as petroleum, steel, petrochemicals, and automotive are located, fulfilling the role of an international trade port. In response to new demands from companies due to changes in social conditions and the increasing size of vessels, Mizushima Port is enhancing its functions by improving port facilities and promoting port usage through domestic and international port sales, thereby working to strengthen its international competitiveness.
