**Lecture Overview** The second Trump administration has advocated for "America First" and has introduced measures such as "reciprocal" tariffs, additional Section 232 tariffs on specific items like automobiles, steel and aluminum, semiconductors, and pharmaceuticals, significantly impacting the world. In this context, where U.S. government trade policies are unpredictable, uncertain, and fluid, Japanese companies need to understand these situations properly and consider and implement appropriate responses.
