This lecture will update the trends regarding inbound visitors, air travel demand, and airlines, while also providing an overview of recent functional enhancement measures at metropolitan area airports and their progress. Additionally, we will estimate the expected number of flights and passengers at major airports when the target of 60 million inbound visitors is achieved, and discuss the future functions of metropolitan area airports to accommodate this demand.
