[Seminar] Skynet JSAT Group's Efforts in Space Security

**Lecture Overview** Since the launch of Japan's first satellite communication business in 1989, the Sky Perfect JSAT Group has contributed to the country's security through the provision of satellite lines for 35 years. In recent years, as space has garnered attention as a combat domain, our company will contribute to security from three perspectives: "connecting," "capturing," and "protecting" by utilizing space. We will promote communication enhancement through optical data relay satellites and High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS) (connecting), the advancement of information gathering through the provision of diverse satellite data such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), hyperspectral, and radio wave collection (capturing), and ensuring the safety of space through Space Situational Awareness (SSA) satellites and quantum key distribution satellites (protecting), thereby realizing sustainable space security.
