The "Gaislide Joint GS-NL Type" is a simple structure, load-supporting, non-drainage expansion device for sidewalks, made by overlapping steel materials. The steel materials used are the same as those for roadways, designed with a high safety factor against crowd loads. A ground cover joint (NLE) that integrates the sidewalk and ground cover is available. Additionally, it has good repairability and contributes to LCC (Life Cycle Cost). 【Features】 ■ Structural Characteristics... Simple structure with overlapping steel materials, load-supporting, non-drainage structure / Structure covered with steel plates for sidewalk-specific gaps ■ Durability... High durability with support parts using RC structure and stud anchors / Designed with a high safety factor against crowd loads using the same steel materials as for roadways ■ Passability... The surface of the roadway uses checker plates (hot-dip galvanized) for pedestrian safety / The gap for expansion is shallow, considering pedestrian convenience ■ Water Stopping... The water-stopping part is filled with high-quality elastic sealing material that has received high waterproof ratings ■ Workability...
