The "Gaislide Joint GS Type" is a load-supporting expansion device for bridges and elevated roads, designed with an overlapping structure for pedestrian walkways. It meets the various requirements expected of pedestrian expansion devices and supports safe and comfortable passage in various walking spaces. 【Features】 ■ Structural Characteristics... Simple structure with overlapping steel materials, load-supporting type, non-drainage structure / Structure with gaps covered by steel plates specifically for pedestrian use ■ Durability... High durability with support parts using reinforced concrete structure and stud anchors / The same steel materials as those used for roadways are employed, designed with a high safety factor against crowd loads ■ Passability... The surface of the roadway uses checker plates (hot-dip galvanized) considering pedestrian safety / The gap for expansion is shallow, designed with consideration for pedestrians ■ Water Resistance... Water-stopping parts use vulcanized adhesive water-stopping rubber ■ Workability... Simple structure with high workability ■ Maintainability...
